I was born in Massachusetts and grew up in North Carolina and Virginia, before returning to Massachusetts. I am a proud first generation college student. I have a bachelors in psychology and in women and gender studies from Clark University. I graduated Magna cum laude, with honors in psychology, as a member of the Psi Chi psychology honors society. I recently obtained my masters in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
I spent nearly a decade working in the human services field, most of which I spent working as a clinician. During that time I learned the power and need for human connections. I have sense transitioned into IT and data positions where I learned the power of storytelling.
I love all forms of art, attending live music, spirituality, astrology, hiking, swimming, long drives, road trips, and any adventures in between.
What motivates me is building human connections. I have a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and advocating for marginalized identities. I myself identify as a queer person and I have lived experience with mental and chronic illnesses.
My vibe is: deep reds, fall, black cats, black panthers, a velvet settee, pumpkin bread with cayenne and a lil frosting, calm weather that's foggy and misty, twilight and dusk, the smell of fresh brewed coffee and musty paper, and the type of laughter that fills a room.
